This is a short patient friendly video that looks at the current situation from an acceptance and commitment therapy perspective. When we're struggling with uncertainty about something like a pandemic, so many fears can come up: What if I die? What if I don't get to do the things I want to do in life? What if I lose people I care about? How can I deal with the guilt of spreading the virus to somebody else? What if something uncontrollable and painful happens to my health? It explores these fears, what we can understand from them, and how we can pivot to putting our time and energy into things we care about.
